🧾 MaunaOne Update — Performance, Favicon, and List Price (03/18/2026)

✅ Summary

This release is focused on speed and marketing tools. We resolved the root cause of slow loads in product and order listings by using composite database indexes and eliminating N+1 queries. We also launched two new features: the Business Favicon to customize your public presence, and List Price to show price comparisons in your product link.

🆕 What's New

• Your business favicon — customize the icon that appears in the browser tab.

  • It appears in your public catalog and in all your product links.

  • You upload it from your profile on the platform.

  • Recommended format: square PNG of at least 32×32 px.

• List Price — a new visual price modifier for marketing strategy.

  • Shows a strikethrough price next to the actual price in your product link.

  • Ideal for communicating discounts, seasonal offers, or promotional prices.

  • It’s visual only — it does not affect the amount charged to the customer.

⚙️ Improvements

• General performance — significant speed improvements

  • Composite database indexes for the most frequent queries (orders by vendor, product availability, reservations).

  • We eliminated the N+1 problem in the product listing: from dozens of queries to just one per load.

  • We eliminated the N+1 problem in the order listing: up to a 97% reduction in the number of queries.

  • Bulk insert for creating availability slots: creating multiple dates is now significantly faster.

🐛 Resolved Issues

• Image upload bug

  • We fixed an error that prevented images from being uploaded or updated on some products.

  • It affected a small number of accounts and was resolved in less than 24 hours.
